1 vote

Stan Kroenke has launched a takeover of Arsenal Football Club. He has increased his stake in the club from 29% to 60% after aquiring 15% for Lady Bracewell-Smith, and 15% from Danny Fizman. He is now obliged to launch a formal offer for all the other shares, and he has odne this by offering 11 750 pounds for each share.

What do Arsenal fans think of this?!!

I think the new owner is a good thing. With some money to spent we can final by some good defender, a keeper and one or two midfielders. AW should stay without AW were are not the same Arsenal. And maybe with this owner we can keep Nasri and our captian.

Well Kroenke owns a "Soccer" team, an American Football team, a Ice Hockey team and a Basketball team so we could become any one of those. Maybe we will be the next Colorado Rapids, at least they won a trophy last year!

As this is one of the few clubs that do not have large DEBT I would imagine that the new take over bidder can offer this kind of money for the shares. AW should stay on at the club but not as manager definitely as CFO or financial manager. He has a Kung Fu grip on the club wallet which can be good but very bad when we want to be a trophy winning club. Come on new owners change some of the spending rules.......

I wonder whether what effect this will have on our transfer policies?
