Its not all doom and gloom: 5 highlights of 2010/11

1. Arsenal 2-1 Barcelona

Possibly the finest day as a Gooner. Arsenal went behind to a David Villa goal before bouncing back with a sublime van Persie finish and a sweeping team move finished off by Arsharvin. Arsenal could be well and truly proud of beating Barca at their own game. A night very few Gooners will ever forget.

2. Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea

Arsenal set the blue print in this game of how we should play. We hurried and pressed and ultimately thumped Chelsea by a scoreline that flatters them. Fabregas, Walcott  and Alex Song combined to smash the defending champions in a game that should be played on video to the Arsenal squad over and over again

3. Man City 0-3 Arsenal

Nasri, Song and Bendtner made sure that Man City had a miserable afternoon as the Gunners produced another lesson in football to the moneybags at City. And on top of that all, Fabregas missed a penalty! Money might by you the FA Cup, but you are still wankers!

4. Robin van Persie

How are these stats:

19 starts premier league 18 premier league goals. 9 consecutive away games scored in. Missed only 1 league game since december. That goal against Barca. 18 goals since January is equal PL record. His 18 PL goals this season have come in just 1770 minutes of football to give him a goal ever 98 minutes. In comparison, Dimitar Berbatov has scored every 105 minutes and Carlos Tevez every 120 minutes. Our dutchman is finally flying!

5. Tottenham and Birmingham

Sure Birmingham won the Carling cup, but hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha they were relegated!!!! And Spurs? Lol, one season in the Champions League and they couldnt get back there! What a fail! Really when you consider how much more than us they spend its just ridiculous! 15 years straight vs 1 year interrupted!!!

I think Van Persie in himself was a highlight of the year
