When Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur 5-4 at White Hart Lane on 13 November 2004, nine different players got on the scoresheet. This was the first time this had happened in a Premiership match.

Arsenal’s scorers were Thierry Henry, Lauren, Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires. For the home side Noureddine Naybet, Jermaine Defoe, Ledley King and Freddie Kanoute got on the scoresheet.

This was one of five times that the Gunners scored five or more goals that season. The other occasions were: Arsenal 5 Middlesbrough 3 on 22 August; Arsenal 5 Rosenborg 1 on 7 December; Arsenal 5 Crystal Palace 1 on 14 February; and Arsenal 7 Everton 0 on 11 May.
